Step 1: From the plane to the arrivals hall
After leaving the aircraft, follow the gate towards passport control (for flights from outside the EU) or straight to baggage reclaim. Allow for:
- EU flight without checked baggage: 10–15 minutes to exit
- EU flight with checked baggage: 20–35 minutes (including baggage reclaim)
- Non-EU flight: 30–50 minutes (passport control and baggage reclaim)
- In summer or around holidays: allow an extra 10–20 minutes
Step 2: Finding your driver
If you booked a taxi with TaxxxiVanAmsterdam, your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a name sign. We monitor your flight in real time, so your driver will know if it is delayed.

Step 3: Heading home
Your driver will help you get in and load your luggage. If you have already paid online, there is nothing to pay in the car; otherwise, you can pay by cash or card on arrival. You can be home in Amsterdam within 30–60 minutes.
