Schiphol taxi at Christmas: what you need to know
Around Christmas, the busiest travel days are December 23, 24 and 27. At Schiphol, baggage handling may take up to 30 minutes longer. Here's our advice:
- Plan to arrive at Schiphol 3.5 hours before your flight (instead of the usual 2.5 hours)
- Provide your flight number when booking—we monitor any delays
- Book your return ride when you leave, so your transport home is arranged
- Expect traffic on the A4/A9—we allow for extra travel time
